Serie A giants Lazio have named Chelsea star Ruben LoftusCheek, 26, as a possible transfer target this summer to replace midfielder Sergej Milinkovic Savic.
With his current contract expiring in June 2023, he will enter the final year of his current contract at Stamford Bridge in the next transfer window.
The Englishman has previously struggled for form and fitness at Stamford Bridge but after being given a chance by Thomas Tuchel in recent weeks, LoftusCheek has enjoyed a consistent stint in the squad, which has also included the box-to-box midfielder who scored the first goal of the Blues 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the FA Cup semi-finals in early April.
However, Corriere Dello Sport claim Lazio are interested in securing LoftusCheek's services for AS Roma, with Milinkovic Savic possibly leaving the club this summer.
The report details how the Serb is likely to leave Maurizio Sarri's side, which has led to the former Chelsea head coach being interested in attacking his former club for LoftusCheek, who he worked with in the 2018/19 season.
However, the report claims that Lazio are looking to sign another Chelsea star, Kepa Arrizabalaga.
