Pride of London are trying to find the best and most likely starting XI Graham Potter could use at Chelsea in the 2022/23 season.
Any head coach or manager who takes control of a Blues team is under pressure. They have many if not all games to win, the fanbase is expectant and it seems the new owners are just as determined, impatient or precise as CFC's previous owners. The result of RB Salzburg is useless:
Potter needs time.
Apparently, the new Stamford Bridge boss doesn't even know who his main XI are - he's only been at the club a week.
To expect miracles now, or even an immediately well-oiled machine, is imaginative.
However, I think the former Brighton & Hove Albion manager was a bit unnecessarily experimental with his first Chelsea line-up. An interchangeable 3-5-2 with possibly reversed full-backs was to be expected given Potter's setup and tactics at Brighton.
Although Reece James was a traditional right-back that night. Now click the link below to go to the next page of the current article, thank you.
